Moonbark Overdrive MK2

Moonbark MK2, a dirt-simple overdrive pedal. It attempts to simulate the cranked tube amp experience with its openness, clarity, and crunch. Designed primarily for bass guitar, it works equally well with guitar. Only two knobs (gain and volume), but massive sound.

Moonbark is constructed using two LM386 chips connected together to achieve high gain. Other high-quality components include JB capacitors, Lumberg and Neutrik jacks, and Alpha potentiometers. For true bypass, I employ the GORVA 3PDT switch—one of the best on the market—featuring a soft click (1.0±0.3kg) for a satisfying tactile response and superb reliability.

The entire circuit is meticulously assembled with 'Point to Point' wiring, using only discrete components. This ensures there are no boards or circuit traces to compromise your signal purity. As all of my pedals it is covered with tuscan tanned leather. I finish each pedal to a standard that looks as impressive on the inside as it sounds on the outside.

If you are looking for a straightforward dirt pedal that will leave your tone intact, look no further. This pedal is loud, heavy, and while it is simple, it has a rich sonic character.
